NOOOOOOOOOO....Not another ear infection!

I am really mad at Mommy for posting these pictures (she's ruining my image)...she just wanted to share that it hasn't been ALL fun and games this week.

We saw the doctor today and she said my right ear is infected AGAIN! Also, mommy had a chest x-ray and she has pneumonia. This is a bummer!

It might slow me down a little, but it doesn't stop me!

We still had fun in between eardrops, antibiotics, rectal temps, Tylenol, Tamiflu, and ibuprofen!

Day 3 and CRAAAAANKY!!!

Well, you'd be cranky too if you couldn't sleep, had ear aches, a stuffy nose, a bad cough, a fever for 5 days, and a cranky mommy and daddy because they are sick too :-(
I'm just glad Maddi and Kaiser are keeping their spirits up! I guess this is the infamous "round 2" they are talking about....you feel good for a day (I think I played a little too hard yesterday), then it comes back to haunt you. We are reading books and trying to rest.

I'm never too sick for a few cheerios....

Oh, yeah, and I helped mommy bake chocolate chip cookies for daddy!
Boy was I mad when she ate the dough and wouldn't let me have any.
So what if there's raw eggs in there...I wanted some!

Day 2 with the Swine Flu

Who says the swine flu will really get you down? Despite a HORRIBLE night's sleep (for mommy and daddy as well)...
Some droopy eyes and a fever that will not break...I'm still smiling and having fun! How could I not...I'm home with mommy and now daddy too :-)
And still in my pajamas at 2pm! This is BLISS!

7 days with Mommy...thanks to the Swine Flu

It was a rough start to our day when Mommy and I visited the local Dr. who says we have the H1N1 virus :-( No wonder we have felt so crummy over the past few days.... I knew there was a reason I didn't like those pigs at the zoo!

The only good news is mommy can't go back to work for 7 days since she works in health care!

Look what I can do!!

All of a sudden, it just clicked...I finally figured out what to do with this thing called a spoon. It was a little tedious and VERY messy(my fine motor skills need a little work) but I had fun!

My snacks kept me happy!

I finally figured out how to get more without yelling at mommy (she doesn't like that so much)!

Not even a SWINE will keep me down!

I still managed to muster up enough energy for a chasing game with mommy before bed:-) We were feeling a little better by the end of the day!

I'm growing SO fast!

Well, I'm not walking yet, but I'm getting REALLY good at standing. I can even pull myself up one-handed. It's great! Now I never have to let go of my silly squirter. Note: it's a bath toy....but I will NOT let it go! :-) I even took it in the car with me today...the elephant trunk is the perfect shape to chew on!

I'm 11 1/2 Months Old!

I just LOVE Sunday mornings when I get to dress up for church!

It was a very sad Sunday watching the Twins get swept by the Yankees...

but Daddy and I were still smiling...we just can't help it when we're together!

Huskies at Irish

Mommy and daddy enjoyed the UW/ND football game last Saturday while I spent the day with a sitter. I had fun playing with 3 other little girls, so it wasn't so bad! Mommy and daddy enjoyed the game...Daddy's team(Notre Dame of course) won in overtime!

I Still Love the Twins!!

.........even if they won't bunt with runners on 1st and 2nd and no outs! They are SO frustrating!!! Can Kubel strike out one more time with runners on base???

Our 1st Family Road Trip

Daddy, Mommy, and I loaded up the Pathfinder for our first family road trip to South Bend, Indiana. Here's me "helping" mommy pack....

3:30 AM

Despite what the GPS said (8.5 hours), it to0k us 11 hours to get there!I got a little confused on my times when we arrived at the hotel at 12am...Here I am, still awake at 3:30 AM!!!!!!!!!!! Mommy and daddy were nearly crying...I thought they were laughing at me :-)

FINALLY THERE!!!

Daddy was SO excited to give me the first tour of my future college :-)

Mommy and I were just happy to get out of the car!
